Good Night Oppy is a documentary about the Mars Rovers Spirit and Opportunity. It starts with their design, goes through their building and testing, and then spends the majority of the doc on their Mars mission. I’m not a huge fan of documentaries and wasn’t really interested in this to be honest, it was just the best movie to see schedule-wise today. However, the filmmakers did a really good job of giving the Rovers personalities and showing how emotionally invested the humans working on the Rover project were. It did end up drawing me in and making me feel invested. It probably was about 20 minutes too long, but it wasn’t boring.
