This is a Japanese movie about a misfit “family” that shoplifts to provide basic needs. They find a little girl being abused by her parents and decide to add her to their group. Eventually, the past and their lies catch p with them. This is an interesting look at those living on the edges of Japanese society. There is also a theme of whether blood makes families or not, but that’s not explored as well.
