In a small Swiss village in 1971, housewife Nora (Marie Leuenberger) becomes the leader of the local women’s liberation movement. She and her friends organize a strike – the wives move out of their houses to show their husbands how critical they are. They hope this will convince their husbands to vote for their rights to vote.
This was a pleasant enough movie while I watched it, but it’s not memorable. I almost forgot that I watched it today.
