Miss You Already is the story of two friends as one struggles with cancer. Toni Collette and Drew Barrymore play the friends and they have great onscreen chemistry together.
It’s a very moving and emotional story. I heard a lot of sniffles in the audience.
Director Catherine Hardwicke does an excellent job of presenting a friendship between two women that feels genuine. But the movie is also about how a cancer struggle affects all of the people that you know.
It’s a frank and honest look at cancer and female friendships. It’s definitely the best film I’ve seen at the festival so far.
