1. Shadow Complex
So much has been said in praise of this game that bound to repeat something someone else has said. Let me say just say this — this was an almost perfectly modernized “Metroidvania” game. The game’s overall presentation was nearly spotless with fluid controls, eye-popping graphic, good voice acting, an actual narrative to follow, and a useable map. The niggling complaints many have with the archaic 2-D exploratory action game were fixed. More than all of that, it Shadow Complex felt like a complete experience, not a downloadable game.
