3. Peggle
This is one of those games that has to be experienced. It is hard to describe the and impossible to describe the fun you derive from playing it. It is a sort of cross between Bust-A-Move and pinball (and pachinko for those Japonophiles out there). You try to clear the playing area of all the orange pegs by shooting balls at them. Along the way you try to score as many points as possible by hitting different color pegs as well. This is one of the best examples of an addictive puzzle game, one where it is hard to stop playing after your start. The XBLA version cannot rival the PC version for controls, but you do get the benefit of enjoying the game from your couch.
