4. Excitebike: World Rally
World Rally is a very faithful update of the original NES Excitebike. The single player game captures the fun of that old title without really doing much to modernize it. What modernizes it are the online components. You can create a track and send to one of your Wii friends. You can race up to four other players online. That may not sound like much for 2009, but World Rally is one of the few WiiWare games to utilize Nintendo’s Wi-Fi connection in a meaningful way and those components are executed flawlessly. Also, Excitebike is still a ton of fun.
