Hey everyone,
The Entertainment Center is looking for some new writers to contribute to the site. Writers do not get paid, but there are a number of perks of writing for the site:
– Have your articles read by hundreds of people a week, and thousands monthly
– Review materials
-Possible access to press events at places like Comic-Con (these are almost always in New York or Hollywood)
-Possible chance to interview celebrities
– Able to participate in creating “Best of Year” lists
– Can be used as a springboard to freelance for other sites
The site needs many writers. Freelance writers can cover music,movies, and games or concentrate on any aspect. I am interested in review and essay writers mainly, this site is not a news site. There is a need however for a Movie Previews writer. The site is sent new trailers and one-sheets everyday. I would like to cover some of these Movie Previews in a unique and personal way, not just re-hashing the press releases.
If you are interested please send an e-mail with your name, what topic or topics you like to cover, and a writing sample to writers@theentertainmentcenter.us. After that you will be sent the site’s editorial policies and requirements for writing an article for the site.
