So, I totally ended up buying Castle Crashers for 15 dollars. Ugh. I didn’t want to, but I really wanted to play that game. It was just exactly the kind of game I wanted to be playing a few weeks ago. So I broke down and bought it. Shoot, I hope this doesn’t help set precedent. I still think it’s B.S. to charge so much. I’m trying desperatley not to buy Braid as well. I don’t think it’s that appealing of a game to play, but I am very intrigued by the way gameplay supposedly ties into the story. I might just be buying the smoke Jonathan Blow is blowing. But I have been thinking alot about different ways to tell a story lately, what with Braid, the new Woody Allen movie, and re-watching Eternal Sunshine on the Spotless mind.
So, some brief site news. Just recently finished reviews for Then She Found Me and Architecture in Helsinki’s new album. They should be going up soon. Also I should be getting my review copy of Top Spin 3 in the mail here shortly. And expect some sort of Madden thoughts to be put up.
